Water's Edge Press has announced he anticipated release of Human Geographies, a collection of poetry that delves into themes of body/intimacy with place. Written in conjunction with Muthupandiyan's travel to sacred and secular sites on four continents, the chapbook explores how travel destinations become conduits of culture, meaning, and interpersonal relationships. Featuring GPS coordinates which direct readers to the place that has inspired each poem, it is a companion to her award winning volume, Of the Earth and Other Desires.
The chapbook is now available for preorder, offering readers an exclusive opportunity to reserve their copy ahead of its official release on April 15, 2025.
Those who pre-order the book before April 15 will be gifted a hand-painted bookmark featuring passages and images from the volume.
