The Institute for Pilgrimage Studies at William & Mary has named Meg as one of its 2023 George Greenia Research Fellows. Named in honor of Professor George Greenia, the founder of the Institute and a critical figure in the international pilgrimage community, the fellowship funding will support the continuation of Meg's research on the development of ecological consciousness among pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago and other European trails.
Meg is deeply grateful to have her work connected to George's legacy and to the ongoing work of the Institute.
